The STIHL Light 04 bar, .325", 1.3 mm, was developed for forestry, agriculture, gardening and landscaping. It is made from 3 electrically welded metal plates, the middle of which is extensively hollowed out. This makes the bar very stable and resistant to bending. Its low weight not only relieves strain on the user, but also promotes effective work with a chainsaw such as the STIHL MS 251.

The reduced-kickback STIHL Light 04 guide bar, .325", 1.3 mm is available with either a small or large bar nose. Thanks to the closed bearing on the sprocket nose, the chainsaw bar is maintenance-free, and this ensures a long service life. In addition, it is always ready for use, as the covered roller bearing on the sprocket nose and the bearings’ lifetime lubrication minimise wear.
